Flow of Resources

In OD for Life, we are experimenting with what it means to create a currency of trust, gratitude, and relationship. This is part of our broader Action Inquiry into how we can bring more Life Alignment into the ways we exchange and organise resources within our movement.

Rather than defaulting to transactional norms, we are asking: What if our movement were designed with principles of the gift economy, generosity, and reciprocity at its heart? How might we strengthen our relational approach, even in settings that usually feel transactional?

And, how might we nurture a healthy oikos (household) for OD for Life, where the flow of resource is held in gratitude and trust?

We believe that it matters not only what we organise for, but how we organise ourselves. This is why we are inviting transparency, encouraging the practice of “stating needs,” and experimenting with collective stewardship. By making our organising processes visible, open, and rooted in relationship, we hope to create fertile ground for coherence, abundance, and a lived experience of community.

Our work is an ongoing exploration: of finding ways to let generosity lead, of holding responsibility together, and of remembering that resources are more than money, they are time, energy, creativity, and care.

Our intention is to nurture conditions in which resources flow through the trust and connection that come when people feel invited and seen.
